Should I use 4MP or 6MP Hikvision Powered By Darkfighter cameras?

Hi All, New to the forum but have been lurking for a while research my IP camera setup! Have never had a camera setup but want one installed on our newly renovated home. I live in a rural location with no lighting near by so ColorVu wont work for me as I don't want the white light on all...

Replace ColorVu with a darkfighter turret for better night vision?

Hi, I have recently installed a DS-2CD2387G2-L(U) down my alley way of my house. The issue I am having is that because it is close to a brick wall the supplement light reflects off of it. This would...

    Firmware PTZ Firmware issue

The issue relates to the Hikvision Darkfighter camera model DS-2DF8223I-AEL. Iam trying to update the firmware from the current version to latest version, however the camera fails to update and results in the cameras going offline and unreachable from HIk-connect, NVR or via browser access...

Spiders and the New Turret Design (Solved)

From the knowledge already on this website it seems turrets are less likely to get spiders on them as the IR and the Lens are in separate housing. My own HikVision 2MP (my first IP camera) bears testament to this been up almost 6 months with no webs (as oppossed to the old non ip bullet cameras)...
