DS-2SE4C425MWG-E/26 Configuring multiple zones

I'm using the above PTZ, but having a difficult time configuring it.

I've set up multiple regions for line crossing, intrusion detection etc... on the panoramic camera. I've also configured 12 PTZ presets. The camera however doesn't seem to allow multiple zones to be linked to multiple presets - just one preset for all zones. This is resulting in the camera not tracking movement.

Am I being silly, or this the limitation of the camera? I want to track vehicles on a laneway, or at the least, slew the ptz into zones when there is a target.

Yes this is known "issue" for Hikvision PTZ's, unlike privacy mask which is done for x.y.z cordinates, smart events are done for 2D channel view.
There is no workaround for this sadly.

Thanks. How would you recommend I best make use of the camera then - to turn the PTZ to a specific area when there is a target detection?

Tbh i completly stopped utlizing a single PTZ for such scenarios, But adding multiple fixed lens which will act as a trigger for PTZ preset. And then start tracking based on single event area

Got you. Disappointing the the panovu can't handle this well - the single unit providing 180 degree coverage to drive a PTZ is a pretty desirable option
