I have my DVR set to record for 20 days for camera 1 but it is only keeping 5 days of video?? I have checked settings and all looks good??

Camera 2 is keeping the right amount as set.

HDD has 50GB of free space?

Any ideas whats going on here? Thanks.

Just set it [Keep Videos/Pictures for] to 0 days on both cameras. Let it run and see how much total recording time you get.

But if I set them to 0 days then wont that mean they just wont save any recording time at all??

No if you set it to 0 (which it is by default) it’ll record each camera until the disk is full. I know that doesn’t make sense but it’s always been that way

Ah ok, got it, message said it said it will not delete anything set to 0 :)

Just an update on this, 20GB still left but cam 1 is still only keeping 5 days, yesterday the 24th was still there but today its gone? Tomorrow the 25th will be deleted?? Cam 2 still has the last day 17th, and is not deleting any days?? Both cams are set to 0 days also.

Strange. If both cameras are set to 0 days expiry (that's in the DVR record settings) and you've not messed around with the Storage group/quota settings, they should be the same. I would just initialise the HDD at this point from the storage menu. It will delete all current footage and if there's any corruption of the storage database it'll fix that. Other than that, I'm out of ideas.
