HikVison and Optus Router issues

Recently purchase a Optus Router using EE plan to install at my dad’s house replacing his BT router.

Swapped over and the routers - the system refused to go online. Even had the camera system installer out - they were baffled too.

Found this forum and I’ve read a number of different posts and tried the various fixes - nothing seems to work.

The router ip address is 192.168.8.0 , we’ve even tried changing this.

When logged into the router I can see the system when connected via the LAN ( no WiFi enabled on the camera system)

I’ve also tried the a laptop on the router via LAN in case there was a port issue - can access internet.

I’ve tried turning off the routers firewall made no difference.

Any ideas of what I can try next to resolve the issue?
