I am new to this forum, I will appreciate your help.
Some background. After doing some research I was able to install a ptz and nvr myself. After some further research I was able to enable smart tracking via the web interface as the nvr was limited. After a few years the ptz stopped working. It was found that the camera was fine and it was likely due to an nvr/power issue. I therefore purchased a poe injector with sufficient power. Whilst that worked I then had issues with viewing it on the nvr as it would be added as an extra channel and despite looking into it I couldn't configure it with the nvr. I then decided to use a local microsd card to bypass the nvr. So, the camera now works, and is recording. I thought I would give this backstory to explain the current setup and my skill level.
Whilst the PTZ is working. I cannot get the auto tracking feature to work. When it was connected to the nvr I was able to configure it on the web interface. However when I try to do it now it says either "the function is not support" or "the device breaks down" Also there doesn't seem to be an option to enable smart tracking on the menu, I can't remember if I was able to do that before or not.
The camera is: 4MP Hikvision DS2DE7A425IWAEBT5 7inch 25X DarkFighter IR Speed Dome IP PTZ Auto Track
currently using a local micrso card
powered with poe injector
used both chrome and microsoft edge browsers to login into web interface
logged in as administrator
