Hello guys,
I'm starting the setup of one NVR with several cameras.
Looking at remote management I'm wondering if through the hik-connect app I have access to all the settings available locally on the web interface for both NVR and camera or if only a subset of parameter can be configured via app and the most have to be configured locally.

Just because I don't have time to configure all locally and I would like to continue the setup remotely. Because I don't have yes a VPN giving me access to the local web interface remotely I'm trying to understand if it is possible through the app

Thanks
Regards

Yes if you enable TeamMode, then you can access remote configuration via HC web.

It looks like this

But its not really 1/1 options you can use. Some will be local only. But most of the stuff can be done via cloud.

Cheers,

Hello,
This is through hik-connect, not hik-connect Pro right?

Finally to have configuration capability, smart event notifications I need to enable only the NVR to use hik-connect or asp all the cameras?

Thanks
Regards

HikConnect, with Team mode enabled. Its not HikPartnerPro.

You only add NVR, no need for all cameras.

Hello,
In back on this point since I've not found the section where enable the team mode
Do you have any pointer for that?

Thanks
Regards

When you login via web, it should pop up emediately, on phone you press Services(Heart) Icon and Create team

Hello
I found the section you mentioned but I'm prompted several option like the attached screen where most of the services seems to be a trial, then need to pay.

Is it the right place?
Which service should be used?
Thanks
Regards

You can tick everything, you have 32 free channels
Literaly says there
It wont charge you qnything in advance

You are right. I mislead the the point about paying. It is referred to the unlimited channels but the 32 channel are included.
Which is the right one for the configuration?. Should be the video management I suppose

Thanks again

You may as well enable everything, you wont be charged anyway, but yes video management is for remote config
