Hello,
For the last few years, I have been using the above-mentioned cameras via a Wi-Fi connection and the EZVIZ App on mobile and PC. Still, I run into playback timeout issues, and also the pc i use to monitor the camera is old, and the app crashes frequently and also has poor wifi signal issues. Hence, I am very frustrated with all these. Still, I have a total of 20 cameras, so I can't exactly throw them out. Is it possible to connect them all via Ethernet to the NVR like a typical CCTV setup, and then connect a TV to that NVR so I don't run into playback timeouts, my PC crashing, or poor Wi-Fi signal? If so, which NVR should I go with? And all the cameras have separate adapters, so I don't need a POE switch.

Well, Yes and No.

While EZVIZ is somewhat compatible with Hikvision devices, it is more and more distancing from it.

Atm it still possible to add ezviz cameras to Hikvision NVR , but could be restricted with future firmwares.

What you need to know is that any smart events ezviz use might not be compatible with Hik NVR. So prepare to use either normal Motion or Continuous recording schedule.

Since you ran your Ezviz cameras which are pretty much end user cheap cams. The NVR to run all these 20 cameras will be your biggest investment so far.

Since you need 32ch NVR, i wouldn't go for 76 series as it will be a bottleneck(bandwidth, decoding capability). You should go with 77 series. You have multiple options here. If only live and playback is needed then 7732ni-k4.

Good luck!
