Hello all, I’ve got a NVR
DS-7616NXI-I2/16P/S with 15 channels in use ,
upgraded to latest firmware last night.
When I first got the system I enabled the motion 2.0 ai engine, the system has been running great. I added a ANPR camera yesterday ids-2cd7a26g0/p-izhsy. Everything seemed to be setup system was capturing plates I could search in events for vehicle, it’s at this point I realised I was not getting hik connect app alerts on my phone for smart events after lots of searching on here and other places the issue was quite common, what is strange is motion alerts are fine but anything line crossing etc did not work but i found the solution in the event configuration page there is a event batch configuration on the left is a list motion / perimeter etc and on the right another box notify surveillance centre ,I tried one of the other cameras setup with perimeter line crossing and it worked!
Then I realised in this list there was no target event or vehicle in this list within the nvr events vechicle detection tab only appears under the target event tab, also I noticed after looking at my events on the nvr although it was picking up the vehicle the name is (vehicle detection) everything is listed as “basic events” under the event type even the line perimeter detection which is weird because on the hik connect app i can see people or vehicle icons in the timeline.
Anyway I decided to disable the motion 2.0 engine and tried to enable target recognition ai engine in the hope it would then add vechicle or target to the event batch list so i could get the notifications working, so i turned off the motion 2.0 restarted and tried to turn on the perimeter and a error message appears see the pic about 30 fps i have checked all the cameras main stream are set to mostly 25fps nothing above this, so i tried to turn back motion 2.0
on and get the same error, any ideas ?
