Hello,

I am experiencing an issue that I have not encountered before with a DS-7616NXI-K2/16P(D) NVR.

Configuration
NVR: DS-7616NXI-K2/16P(D)
Cameras: directly connected to the NVR PoE ports
Firmware version: V4.85.030 build 260612
Hik-Connect notifications are generated by the NVR, not directly by the cameras.
Symptoms

Since the firmware update (I cannot confirm with absolute certainty that the issue started immediately after the update), the three Hik-Connect modes behave as follows:

1. Armed

Detection: OK
Recording: OK
Push notifications: OK
Audible alarm: OK

2. Silent Armed

Detection: OK
Recording: OK
Push notifications: OK
No audible alarm (expected behavior)

3. Disarmed

Cameras still detect events.
The white deterrence flash still activates.
The NVR continues recording the events.
However, there are no Hik-Connect push notifications and no audible alarm.

In other words, the detection chain is working correctly (camera → NVR → recording), but only the actions controlled by the NVR (push notifications and audible alarm) appear to be disabled when the system is set to Disarmed.

Question

Has anyone using a DS-7616NXI-K2/16P(D) with firmware V4.85.030 build 260612 noticed the same behavior?

I would like to determine whether this is:

an intentional change in the Hik-Connect "Disarmed" mode behavior;
or a regression introduced by this firmware version.

Thank you in advance for any feedback.

That is exactly how it's supposed to be. It's always been that way (AFAIK). Disarming does not disable the event, it just stops the push notification and event clip to Hik-Connect.

There is a problem with my system:

The DS-2CD2687G3-LIZS2UY/SL flashes in disarmed mode when it detects an event.

The other cameras (HM-TD2628-3/G1/T3A, 2CD2047G3-LI2UY/SL, 2CD 2367G2P-LSU/SL, 2CD 2047G2H-LIU/SL) do not react this way, as they always have in the past.
