My sky router is in the lounge, the cctv dvr is in the kitchen,I have 2 tp links to connect them via the house wiring, the problem is that these links keep coming unpaired,I reset them & everything is ok for a couple of minutes, then they lose the pairing Because of this I can't see the 2 cameras through my phone. Can anyone help?

I've got systems where they are really stable, but also have systems where I've experienced what you are seeing - lock ups, loss of connectivity.

My recommendation would be to do away with them. Get the TP-Link N300 Travel router from Amazon (£20) to connect the DVR to your WiFi:

TP-Link Travel Router

Power it up, connect to its 'TP-Link' network with your phone or computer, set a password, select 'Client Mode', select your WiFi network from the list and enter its password, and save. It'll reboot. Connect it to your DVRs network port and that's it sorted in a couple of minutes. You don't need to use the supplied power adaptor - if the USB port on the back of the DVR is not being used you can power the TP-Link from that.
