Good afternoon,
We have a camera and box in the loft which has recently stopped working following a change in broadband (Sky to EE). I have checked the settings (see attached image) but cannot get the software to work via the settings (saying offline when pinged). This means that the Hik-Connect App is offline as well. Hope someone can help.
Many thanks

Hi @edubois

It's likely that when you switched your broadband supplier, your local network IP range was changed from 192.168.1.xxx to something else.

To check the current IP range of your local network, can you please confirm whether you have a Windows PC or a Mac on the same network as the NVR?

Hi Dan,

Thank you for responding. We only have macs in the household.

Thanks @edubois

In that case, please log in to one of your Macs and follow this forum guide to confirm what the current IP range of your local network is.

If your IP range has changed to something like 192.168.2.xxx or 192.168.5.xxx, the simplest way to get the NVR back online would be to turn DHCP (IPv4) off and then manually change the NVRs IPv4 adress to the new IP range (e.g. if the range is now 192.168.5.xxx, change 192.168.1.168 to 192.168.5.168) and set the NVRs default gateway address to the same as your local router IP address shown in the Mac network settings.
